Alice Nursery children enjoy Royal Wedding party celebrations

Children at our Alice Nursery were in high spirits last Thursday when they dressed in red, white and blue and helped to organise their own Royal Wedding themed party in advance of Prince William and Catherine Middleton's big day. The 23 girls designed their own crowns and gold necklaces to wear and made their own patriotic bunting to decorate the nursery garden. They went shopping for party food with the nursery staff and made their own sandwiches and jelly. Parents were invited to join in the celebrations in the afternoon and were served cream teas and red, white and blue cupcakes. Nursery Manager Amanda Atkinson said “ It was a wonderful day and the girls thoroughly enjoyed taking part in all the activities to help celebrate such a memorable occasion.”
