Students from Palmers Green High School were celebrating today after receiving their GCSE results. It was another impressive year for the school as 100% of entries were graded A*-C (with 81.7% graded A* or A). The top five performing students this year collected a total of 36 A* and 17 A grades between them. Last year the school was awarded 1st place in the Sunday Times parent power national league table for small schools after 74% of the girls achieved A*/A grades at GCSE.
Headteacher, Christine Edmundson, said “ I would like to congratulate the students and staff on their excellent results. As a small independent GSA school, Palmers Green High School attributes much of its pupils’ success to small class sizes (average 12 at GCSE) and excellent relationships between pupils, teachers and parents.”
