1st August 2020

Roy Apps, the acclaimed children’s author and scriptwriter visited the Lower School on World Book Day and spent time with Reception to Year 6 talking about his books, writing and where ideas for his stories came from. The following day we were also extremely lucky to have the popular and award winning children’s author Marcus Sedgwick visiting the Senior School to talk to the girls in Year 7 to Year 10 about his novels for young adults. Both authors signed copies of their books at lunchtime in the school library and every girl in the school also received a World Book Day £1 Book Token.
