The Alice Nursery girls enjoyed a lovely morning out when they visited Forty Hall in Enfield. The girls went back in time to find out how people used to live in the house. They were very busy trying out different activities: making butter (and singing the butter making song); making fancy shaped bread; trying out old fashioned toys; putting on a hat and ruff; finding out what people used for a toilet before houses had bathrooms and designing fancy cakes. It was a lot of fun and the girls used up so much energy they ate up all their lunches on our return to the nursery!
