Celebrating World Book Day 2016

Staff and pupils had a wonderful world book day celebrating books and reading. Everyone enjoyed trying to guess who each character was and how the teachers’ clues related
to a character or book! Our DEAR (‘Drop Everything And Read’) activity was a huge success with everyone stopping what they were doing at two points in the day to just sit and read and relax. The girls also had great fun trying to see how many of the ‘opening lines’ of well-known books they know, as they spotted them around the school!
