Congratulations go to all of our Year 11 girls on their impressive GCSE results! We are proud to announce that yet again, Palmers Green High School girls have achieved outstanding results in their GCSEs/IGCSEs. Our number of top grades has increased this year and the overall percentage of A*/9/8 grades is a magnificent 60% and A*/9 to A/7 is 81%! Several top performing pupils attained clean sweeps of A*/9/8s.
Headmistress, Mrs Wendy Kempster said “I am delighted with the 2019 GCSE/IGCSE results and very pleased that the girls have achieved such excellent outcomes. They have worked with dedication and determination with their teachers to excel across the board. PGHS prides itself on nurturing the individual and, with our small class sizes, every pupil is able to access regular support and advice to ensure that they can achieve their potential in all that they do. Thank you to all of the staff and parents who have worked so hard over the years to ensure the very best outcomes for the girls.”
In September, all of the girls will go on to their first choice sixth form locally and some further afield. Their destinations include Brampton College, Cranleigh School, Highgate, King Alfred School, The Latymer School, Mount Kelly College, North London Collegiate, St Michael’s and Woodhouse.
