Year 5 to Year 11 have been involved in various activities this week in collaboration with British Science Week. One of the lessons involved looking at a theme called plastic tide. Worldwide, nearly 2 million plastic containers are distributed every minute. Plastics do not biodegrade, but instead break down into small particles that persist in the ocean, they absorb toxins and enter our food chain through fish, seabirds and other marine life.
