PGHS have a winning team in the Year 5 Maths challenge at Haileybury

Congratulations go to four of our Year 5 pupils who attended Haileybury’s first ever Year 5 Maths Challenge last week.  Gemma and Angelina came top in their group and Anjali and Nikhita came fourth having completed a particular set of challenges in which twenty one schools took part with 100 pupils in total.  Haileybury Master, Joe Davies, presented the prizes at the end of the morning and commented on how hard the children had all worked, concentrating for 90 minutes on a variety of brain-teasers, maths problems and puzzles.
