Our Year 9 and 10 girls did extremely well in the London Schools Hydrogen Challenge, for which they worked in groups of 3 or 4 and learned about iteration based on a model hydrogen powered car. They had to design, build, test and refine their design until they maximised the distance travelled. The London Hydrogen Partnership, a Mayoral programme that works towards developing London’s Hydrogen economy, is working with Arcola Energy and have launched this interactive new competition for secondary schools in London. The winning teams in Year 9 and 10 will be attending the finals at the Mayor’s offices in March, when they will compete against winning teams from other schools. Well done girls!
