Year 8 pupils hosted this year’s successful International Day which was a whole school celebration, focusing on Common Wealth countries – Canada, South Africa, Australia, Scotland and Northern Ireland, Malaysia, and England and Wales. They researched different themes connected to their group’s country – the arts, history, mathematicians, geographical features, literary figures and scientists. As well as exhibiting their work, the pupils also provided school members with taster foods ubiquitous to their countries as well as quizzes and fun activities. Pupils from Year 1 – 10 came to visit the celebrations, including teachers and governors. All had a wonderful day of creative learning.
