Juniors

The Junior Department builds upon the strong foundations laid in the Prep Department. Throughout the School, staff have high expectations of both behaviour and academic achievement, encouraging pupils to perform to the very best of their ability in all aspects of the curriculum. By the end of Key Stage 2 our pupils are well prepared for the challenges and opportunities of the Senior School. Class sizes are small and for some subjects the pupils are divided into two groups. Our experienced teachers, assisted by the wider support network of subject specialist teachers and teaching assistants, encourage every pupil to develop an inquisitive mind, discover the excitement of learning and take full advantage of a broad and balanced curriculum. Everyone is given the chance to shine.
