Congratulations Year 11, GCSE Class of 2023

24th August 2023

We send our warmest congratulations to our GCSE Class of 2023 as they receive their excellent public examination results. The School’s overall percentage of GCSEs at grades A*/9/8 was a super 41% and A*/9 to A/7 a fantastic 69%.

Our pupils have much to celebrate from their time at PGHS. They have shown determination and commitment to their academic studies, developing the work ethic and study habits that will ensure their continued success at A-Level and beyond.

We are delighted that our alumnae have secured places at their first-choice destination for Sixth Form including Dame Alice Owen’s School, Henrietta Barnett School, Woodhouse College and St Albans School. We wish them every success for the start of the new school year and look forward to marking their achievements at Prize Giving in November.

For more information about specific results, please see the results section of our website.

We’re delighted to have won a national award in The Sunday Times Parent Power Guide 2026.

PGHS has been named ‘Independent 11-16 School of the Year for Academic Excellence 2026’.
