Farewell to Ms Newman and Ms Sinfield

At the end of term, we sadly said goodbye to two long-standing members of staff – Ms Jo Newman, MFL Teacher, and Ms Marie Sinfield, Teaching Assistant. Between them they have contributed thirty-five years of service to the school. Ms Newman has taught French, Spanish and History at PGHS for 26 years and she has been an exceptionally dedicated form tutor, supporting hundreds of girls with their academic and personal development. Ms Marie Sinfield is one of PGHS’ beloved Teaching Assistants most recently working with Year 2. As well as her in-class support, Ms Sinfield’s creativity has ensured that all Prep productions have wonderful scenery, costumes and props.

Both Ms Newman and Ms Sinfield will be much missed at PGHS but we wish them every happiness and success as they embark on their next chapters. We look forward to seeing them at PGHS events in the future.
