Farewell to long standing members of staff

At the end of the summer term we said goodbye to two long-standing teachers in our Prep School.

Our Reception teaching assistant Mrs Ann Hassan started working at PGHS some 32 years ago and this year she has made the decision to retire. Mrs Hassan has given tirelessly in her role. Her humour, caring nature and creativity will be very much missed.

Miss Louise Gelsthorpe will be leaving to embark on a new adventure teaching in Cairo after ten years at PGHS. Miss Gelsthorpe started as a newly qualified teacher and and over the last ten years she has demonstrated skill, creativity and dedication every day. Her energy, thoughtfulness and humour know no bounds, and although she will be very much missed we are excited for her new adventure!
