On Thursday, Year 11 Geographers enjoyed a full day of fieldwork with the Field Studies Council at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
They investigated the challenges in two contrasting areas of Stratford to examine both the positive as well as the negative aspects of the area’s regeneration. They worked hard collecting data on
building quality, the living environment and the provision of services. They particularly enjoyed the challenge of conducting brief questionnaire surveys with members of the public. The Year 11
Geographers will now analyse this data as part of their preparation for their GCSE in the summer.
